WHY WE EXIST

VELKOOR started with one rule. Nothing gets printed unless it can be measured.

A motor rated at the power it legally runs at. A battery listed in Wh, because that is the figure that decides how far you go. A range measured under stated conditions, so you can work out what it means for you.

Everything else we do follows from that rule.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY SELL

Electric bikes. Three kinds, nothing else.

Folding bikes for people who take a train. City bikes for people who take a road. Fat tyre bikes for people who take neither.

Every one runs a 250 W nominal motor with pedal assist cutting out at 15.5 mph — the UK legal standard, certified to EN 15194. No licence, no tax, no insurance.

Our range figures are measured with a 75 kg rider, on flat ground, at moderate assist, with correct tyre pressure. Hills, wind and cold weather will cost you range. We would rather tell you that before you buy than after.

WHERE THIS GOES

The goal is the bike you still ride in three years.

That means fewer models, not more. A bike joins the range when every spec on its page can be stood behind, and not a month sooner.

VELKOOR is run by one person. Silavann-John LIM, sole trader registered in France, SIRET 983 192 030 00028. That line sits in the footer of every page.
